It’s a new year and it’s time for another PANTONE Colour of the Year. This year it’s a lovely shade of peach called Peach Fuzz.

Peach Fuzz is the 25th PANTONE Colour of the Year. You may be wondering why this is significant? Expect to see this soft, neutral shade of peach featured in textiles, interior design and more throughout 2024.

My Peach Fabric Stash

Just for fun, I looked through my stash to see how much soft peach, or any peach I have in my fabric bins. My answer is only one fabric. That’s it! Peach just isn’t a colour that I gravitate towards.

We all know that we are attracted to certain colours and tend to quilt and sew with those colours. Take me for instance, I have two bins of blue fabric and I’m close to needing a second bin for both green and grey. These are obviously my colours.

How About You?

So tell me, are you excited about Peach Fuzz? Do you normally quilt with shades of peach and other warm colours? Is it a primary of yours or do you just use it as a nice contrast now and then?
